25.02.22 I took 4 good friends and musicians with me to play concert in the beautiful Andenes near Lofoten in Norway. The festival is called Nordlystfestivalen and have been held every year since early 2000. The pre-story of how it came to be.
I was visiting David who happens to be one of the best drummer I have worked with and at the same time, Rune Solvang, a talented guitar player and a mixing engineer was there with his wife who is in the board of festival committee, Lisa Solvang. She was talking about they have been thinking and rethinking about having the festival this year because of this “extremely dangerous” moronic variant of this none existing c-19! my words not hers 😉 But they were probably going to go forth and have it after all. I asked if they needed more musicians and “offered” to come and play. She did check it with the committee and I was hired to play.
I needed musicians and right away drummer David Schøne was in, and Anders Eriksen on base guitar and my wife Jeanette Jensdatter, flute and back vocals. I had that same month met with another musician, a multi instrumental musician from Iceland Jon Karl Stefansson, who agreed to play with us.
So we where a full band and because of great distanse between every musicians we rehearsed every man for them selves. We met one time in the “middle” and had a great weekend with rehearsal and did rehearsed in the hotel room before and on the stage before the concert the same day. The team was ready with good vibrations and looking forward to play for the festival audience.
We played after the lokal band Din Freundin. A great band with catchy tunes and thoughtful and humorous lyrics.

The concert lastet for about an hour and the festival guest had a great time. I hope that we are invited to play there next year.
